I worked on the renovation of a 45-sqm dismissed building located next to a late 19th-century villa and formerly used as the caretaker’s house. The project aimed to transform it into a small student apartment for the University of Verona through the addition of three multi-functional birch plywood elements. They define a double-height living space with a kitchen in the lower part and a large bedroom in the mezzanine, delimited by a white net to admit air and daylight. The smaller part hosts an entrance, a walk-in closet and a bathroom.
